2019年から世界中でCOVID-19の感染が急拡大したことにより，本学の別科生も入国が叶わなくなり，母国で日本語を学習せざるを得なくなった。そこで，授業外でも日本語を実践的に使える場を作りたいと考え，NZにある本学の姉妹校と合同でオンライン国際交流会を開催することにした。本稿では，2021年度前期に開催したオンライン国際交流会と交流会までの約２ヶ月の準備期間が別科生に与えた教育的効果を調査し，別科生を対象に実施した事後アンケートとフォローアップインタビューを基に，考察した。その結果，本交流会までの準備期間でチームワークの精神を養うことができ，本交流会を通して日本語の口頭運用能力に自信が持てるようになったとの声が多く寄せられた。しかし，交流会で自由に話す時間が欲しかったとの声もあり，交流会の内容を再考する必要があると考える。 |

Because of the COVID-19 virus rapidly expanded all over the world, the international students of IPU became impossible to enter Japan from 2019, and they forced to learn Japanese in their mother country online. We want to give them the chance to use Japanese practically outside the class. We decided to hold an online international exchange meeting with my sister university in New Zealand. In this paper, we considered the effects of the international exchange, post interview and follow-up interview. As a result, we found it is possible to cultivate the teamwork spirit in preparation and our students become confident in the using of Japanese through this exchange. However, we also hear that the students wanted more time to talk freely. We think it is necessary to reconsider the content of this exchange meeting. |
