We want to give them the chance to use Japanese practically outside the class. We decided to hold an online international exchange meeting with my sister university in New Zealand. In this paper, we considered the effects of the international exchange, post interview and follow-up interview. As a result, we found it is possible to cultivate the teamwork spirit in preparation and our students become confident in the using of Japanese through this exchange. However, we also hear that the students wanted more time to talk freely.
