| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to examine the educational significance of “play” in early childhood education, focusing on “guided childcare”, which is the central concept of Sozo Kurahashi’ s theory of early childhood education “YUDO HOIKU” can be said to be an educational theory that built the foundation of modern Japanese early childhood education. This is because Japan’s early childhood education aims to cultivate the basics of lifelong personality formation through play. It is well known that the importance of “play” as a method of education is based on the characteristics of childhood development. Kurahashi emphasized that “the starting point of early childhood education is that the thoughts and activities of childhood are undifferentiated” and that the development of infants themselves in the developmental process of play was emphasized. Kurahashi’s theory of early childhood education has had a significant impact on modern childhood education. First, as a result of examining the significance of education in early childhood, it was thought that it would cultivate the basics of personality formation throughout life. In addition, I considered Kurahashi’s theory of early childhood education from the viewpoints of history, the relationship with modern daycare, and the viewpoint of practitioners. At the center of Kurahashi’s theory of early childhood education, there is always an infant and the life of the infant. Also, as a pedagogical significance of “play”, cultivating “post-growth power” in subsequent education (from compulsory education to society), and working with the inside of infants, the potential of each infant It was clear to find. Here is the significance of early childhood education. |
