| 内容記述 | For people with different ethics and values to coexist in an increasingly globalized society, it is important to acquire abilities and skills for layering each other’s thoughts and identifying points that are in accordance in order to reach an agreement. These abilities and skills will be increasingly in need in elementary school classrooms. However, discussions held in elementary school classrooms often remain at the level of students merely presenting their opinions without reaching an agreement. One of the reasons for this is that the process of discussion is not instructed clearly. This study analyzed and examined elementary school Japanese class textbook teaching materials for discussions that had been published between 2011 and 2015 with a focus on the process of discussion for the purpose of building discussion abilities and skills for reaching an agreement. The analysis and examination findings elucidated the requirements for teaching materials that will supplement the textbook teaching materials for discussions. | |||||||||
