| 内容記述 | Sporting events in Kasai City have been carried out by the City, Sports Association, Sports Boy Scouts, Kasai Sports Club 21 Liaison Council and Sports Promotion Committee. The City has been achieved health maintenance and promotion, improvement of competitiveness, healthy development of young people through these sporting events. According to the “Citizen Sports Survey” that were conducted in FY 2011 and FY 2012, the percentage of adults have implemented the sport at least once a week in the City was 34.5%, however, the nationwide survey average was about 45.3%. On the other hand, the sports population decreased. It is because of the occurrences of the following: the declining birth rate; the repolarization of the people who do and do not exercise; and the problems such as sluggish growth of the competition level due to the leader shortage. Furthermore, the efficiency of life with the progress of mechanization has reduced the movement in daily life. At the same time, due to increasing lifestyle related diseases and the reduction of physical strength of children, there are not small number of people who are feeling the anxiety to such health and physical fitness. Especially 40s men, who are facing the stress at work, are complaining the health anxiety caused by lack of exercise. The sports activities in Kasai-City are not only contributing as a tool to improve health and fitness training programs and competition force of residents, but also promoting the regeneration of the dilutive local communities and an important role in the bright town development. In the future, Kasai-City should enhance its citizens to feel free to conduct sports recreational activities anytime and anywhere, by coping with the changes of the social environment and the diversification of the sports needs of its citizens. Moreover, the City can maintain and promote health of its citizens by striving and spreading the light sports in the region. On the top of that, by providing a lifelong sports society which anyone can feel free to conduct sports activities, the City should create a sports culture which utilize the City’s own characteristic. For its realization, this report has developed a sports promotion plan for Kasai-City. |
