On 26th August, 2010, the result that had been examined regarding the basic policy of the future "Strategy of the sports nation" was announced by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. The announcement included the aim, basic idea, five emphasis strategies and main measures of the "Strategy of the sports nation". The announcement also included the heading called "Creation of sports according to the life stage at the chance". The
main objective of "Creation of sports according to the life stage at the chance" is to achieve the lifelong sports society. Within this society, people can be familiar with sports according to their physical strength, age, techniques, interest and purpose indefinitely anytime and anywhere. And, the second objective is to increase adult's weekly sports execution rate of one or more sports. It is ideal to increase to 2/3 adults in the early stage. The third objective is to achieve a rich sports life. In order to achieve the third objective, it is important to enhance both the school physical education and the extracurricular activities. As a one of concrete measure to achieve this third objective, “Maintenance of regional sports environment that centers on the local synthesis sports
club”was enumerated. Promoting community sports club that bears new public; enhance training and use of talent who leads regional sports; securing the place of sporting activities; and promotion of effective use of school physical education facilities were enumerated. It cooperates as an object of this investigation with the Akaiwa City Yoshii Sports Recreation Club establishment preparation committee. In order to establish a local synthesis sports club that is based on local people opinion, the investigation was executed. This study focuses it on Yoshii Sports Recreation Club (Akaiwa-City, Yoshii-area). The purposes of the study are as follows: first, the study focusing the realities of resident's sporting activities and needs; secondly, obtaining the material for the club establishment; finally, clarify whether Yoshii
Sports Recreation Centre contributes to the community formation. |
