| 内容記述 | Despite the Pacific War ending , over 60 years ago, each of the relevant countries` views about the history of the war continue to show differences. Such differences, particularly the views of the atomic-bomb attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, have became barrier to understanding of Pluralism Culture. Based on my research of the Pacific War Battlefield between Japan and USA, I discovered differences especially between Japanese and the people in USA or Asia with consideration into the cultural background. At Pearl Harbor strong assertions by Americans maintain that the Pacific War was a battle to defend liberty. At Tinian island, I also realized a representative view of the USA and the feeling of Asian peoples toward atomic-bomb. Through these findings I propose how we should consider a new historical perspective about the Pacific War which has persuasion for Americans and Asians on the ground that the past memory is very important for our future. |
