The purpose of this study was to clarify the current status of physical education classes at correspondence high schools from a case study perspective. Specifically, interviews were conducted with 2 physical education teachers who had experience working at a correspondence high school to investigate and analyze the state of their classes, the teachers’ awareness, and the students’physical condition.
As a result, it was found that, as in the previous study, in the target correspondence high schools, classes aimed at activities leading to lifelong sports and relationships with others were conducted with consideration for a variety of students. It can be inferred that this is a common current situation and issue in physical education classes in correspondence high schools. |
