I investigated what kind of support the international student assistants felt useful for GSC students. As a result, many assistants of International students feel improved “communication skills”, “teaching skills”, “motivation to learn Japanese”, “explanatory skills”, etc. Many international students also realized the importance of “considering individual differences.” On the other hand, there was an assistant for international student who found it difficult to “interpret”, so it is necessary for the faculty members to take this into consideration when speaking. For international students, the “interpretation, and explanation”, “sharing of experiences”, “learning support”, and “ answer to the question” of the international student assistants are useful.
