On the other hand, gender diversity is not explicitly mentioned in the revised edition of education guideline. It has been reported that the age of recognizing strangeness between their biological and self-acknowledgement gender are most likely to be seen before entering elementary school. Moreover, being aware of their sexual orientation are mostly seen in adolescents, which suggest the understanding and support in school is essential. In the sports field, efforts are being made to improve the environment and the nature of sexuality in sports. In the fields of early childhood education, primary and secondary education, and university education that produces educators and leaders involved in sports, it is necessary to expand educational programs on sexual diversity. Additionally, sexual minorities have been indicated to have a high rate of suicidal thoughts, which is an urgent issue in light of the recent unstable social situation in Corona. In this study, we conducted a survey on the awareness and understanding of SOGI (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity) and sexual minorities in college athletes and examine how education on “sexual diversity” should be provided.}, pages = {13--22}, title = {体育・スポーツ関連学部における性の在り方への対応に関する緊急性 ― 大学生アスリートを主対象としたセクシャリティに関する意識調査 ―}, volume = {18}, year = {2021}, yomi = {フジタ, イクコ and マエカワ, マキ and タカギ, カナ and サワイ, アケミ} }
