 note = {The influence of the five-factor model of personality on praise seeking and rejection avoidance needs was examined. The results indicated a significant positive regression from neuroticism and agreeableness to rejection avoidance needs, a significant positive regression from extraversion, openness and conscientiousness to praise seeking needs, and a significant negative regression from agreeableness to praise seeking needs. These results suggest that personality traits including shyness and passivity might enhance rejection avoidance needs, whereas activity directed at others and ability might enhance praise seeking needs., パーソナリティとしてのBig Fiveが賞賛獲得欲求および拒否回避欲求へ与える影響を検討した。結果から，拒否回避欲求には情緒不安定性と調和性からの正の関連があった。さらに，賞賛獲得欲求には外向性，開放性および誠実性からの正の関連と調和性からの負の関連が有意であった。これらの結果により，臆病で他者に対して消極的なパーソナリティ特性が拒否回避欲求を高める一方，他者に対して積極的で有能なパーソナリティ特性が賞賛獲得欲求を高めることが示唆された。},
