The survey included 373 male students, and 590 female students. We used a questionnaire that can assess circadian rhythm of morning-type, intermediate-type, and evening-type concerning life habits. As indicator of defecation, defecation score was obtained by quantification of defecation rating scale. The results are as follows: 1) Defecation score was 2.0±2.8 and 3.5±3.3 in male and female students, respectively. The significantly higher score in female students indicates that the femeles have a tendency toward constipation. 2) Factors of life habits related to defecation score included wakefulness and lassitude after waking up; degree of difficulty in waking up at 6:00 a.m. every morning; favorite waking time on the premise of eight-hour working. Those with morning-type rhythm had lower defecation score.}, pages = {141--146}, title = {大学生の排便スコアに及ぼす生活リズムの影響}, volume = {12}, year = {2018} }
