The study focused on the scenes as the factors of improvement of infants’ play. Free playing scenes of 4-year-olds were observed intermittently, and analyzed through the concept of ambivalence between “ I ” and “We”. The result showed that the beginning and end of play were the important factor of the improvement of infants’ play.
