First, improvisation is considered a way of providing education through musical expression in kindergartens; the term “expression” in this case is specific to that used in kindergarten teaching procedure. Students taking the course−which was taught by the author in the second semester in 2016− were requested to improvise performances and later fill out questionnaires on four occasions in the first semester in 2017. Their performances were recorded and some of them were written as scores, which appear in this article.  “The musical ability of replying impromptu to the voluntary musical expression of the infant” (Tasaki, 2015), as well as the musical ability of recreating composed music, is necessary for kindergarten teachers. Students who want to be kindergarten teachers should experience various styles of musical performances to acquire the skills to develop infants’ rich sensitivity and creativity}, pages = {17--25}, title = {「器楽演習」授業における即興演奏活動導入の可能性}, volume = {1}, year = {2017} }
