The article considers the main factors of the dimension and assesses their application and accuracy as to the influence of cultural identity on classroom learning. Furthermore, suggestions are made which need to be incorporated into any communicative learning environment in Japan in order to maximize learner participation and achieve improvements in language proficiency.
