The majority of college students answered that they had liked the school songs,and were able to remenber the songs at least partially. They thought the school songs were necessary, and hoped the school songs to be long sung. As additional data, the comments concerning the topic of school songs by about 50 general members of society on the bulletin board that are attached to the homepage of the Yomiuri Shimbun(one of major newspapers in Japan) were analysed. In these comments the majority of people affirmatively caught the school song. People left from the hometown recall the hometown,classmates,teachers and past school lives by singing the school songs. On the other hand, people who live in the hometown sing the school song with children. Consideraion of these data suggested that school songs were helpful to teach pride and attachment to schools and hometowns for students.}, pages = {73--80}, title = {校歌が児童・生徒に与える影響―卒業生から見た校歌}, volume = {4}, year = {2011} }
