The teaching materials reviewed for the research report were of 23 different types, including those researched at Rika Kyoshi Juku and others that were commercially available. Among these, class progress and the responses of the children, as well as innovation and advances in teaching, were summarized for selected examples for which full practical reports were collected. In addition, on obtaining cooperation, a questionnaire survey on the teaching materials, including their significance and the effectiveness of their utilization, was conducted.
