<dc:description>This study investigates the status of utilization of teaching materials and methods researched at the International Pacific University Rika Kyoshi Juku (science teachers’ cram school), established for training teachers with advanced science teaching skills, by elementary school science teachers who started teaching after training at Rika Kyoshi Juku. The teaching materials reviewed for the research report were of 23 different types, including those researched at Rika Kyoshi Juku and others that were commercially available. Among these, class progress and the responses of the children, as well as innovation and advances in teaching, were summarized for selected examples for which full practical reports were collected. In addition, on obtaining cooperation, a questionnaire survey on the teaching materials, including their significance and the effectiveness of their utilization, was conducted. As a result, it was understood that teachers themselves enjoyed researching teaching materials that they considered meaningful for adoption as teachers and that such materials made it easier for children to visualize natural objects and phenomena.</dc:description>
